About Us

The Green Building Material Alliance is an industry alliance with the support from the Taiwan government-Ministry of Science and Technology, we contribute to the basic research, services and industry-related cooperation in the field of green building materials, environmental protection and energy saving. The Green Building Material Alliance mainly run by The Heat-Insulated Building Material Laboratory. So far, we have 33 famous companies or organizations as our alliance members.

The Heat-Insulated Building Material Laboratory is one of the laboratories set up by the Center for Energy Technology and Strategy, National Cheng Kung University. It is the best research center for National Cheng Kung University and one of the world's leading research centers in the field of energy. The Heat-Insulated Building Material Laboratory (HIBM) consists of an alliance and several laboratory units, which are Green Building Material Alliance, the light, thermal, and durability performance of building material testing, and material developing laboratories. Thus, the Heat-Insulated Building Material Laboratory members heads the Green Building Material Alliance.

The Green Building Material Alliance continues the industrial alliance project of the government as the second phase of the project. The first phase of our industrial alliance combined into the National Cheng Kung University, Kun Shan University of Science and Technology and Shu-Te University of Science and Technology professors and researchers composed of executive team, the past research results on the outstanding performance of patent output, including 23 patents, 9 new products output. In addition, the host and co-host in the past 225 patents, 5 technical transfers. The second phase of the industry alliance is the Green Building Material Alliance, which joined the Taiwan Science and Technology, Taipei University, Sustainable Environment Research Laboratories and other green building materials with the expertise of experts, the establishment of a larger executive team.
